The How to send results document has been
reorganized, to hopefully make it easier to understand (the way you need
to send your results has not changed since the update earlier this
month).

Season Schedule - The schedule has
now been finalized (no changes since Saturday!).
A few people have questioned whether the deadline for Australia
qualifying is correct. I'd like to make clear that it is - both the
qualifying and race results are due the same day! Why? Well, it's
mainly due to the extremely late start in the setup of the 1999/2000
season. I wanted to keep the schedule as similar to last years as
possible. I would have made the first deadline this Saturday, but
I feel this is way too soon - we need to give people a chance to
get ready and registered before the first race. I considered
many options, but IMHO, delaying the qualifying deadline will cause
the least disruption. I wish this wasn't necessary, but that's the
way things go :(

The new 1999/2000 IAF1GPC F1GP-Ed Datafile Pack is
now available. You must use this datafile when participating in the 1999/2000
championship events and you must also use F1GP-Ed 3.44. No major changes, except
that the computer cars are now based on the team/drivers in the real life
1999 season.

Season Schedule - A provisional schedule is
now available - subject to change over the next week (the first race will
definitely be in Australia though!).

09-Oct-99 |
Changes for the 1999/2000 season - I would like to thank everybody who took the time to fill in the survey
here last week. Take note of the following changes for the new season - the
rules have been updated accordingly:
- 3 driver/car teams - votes: 2 for / 20 against! Hence, teams in all series will
be allowed a maximum of 2 drivers this season.
- All drivers are limited to a total 12 laps in each qualifying session - as
in real life F1.
- Qualifying sessions must now be logged (as well as the race) with AGPLapTime, and the log
must be submitted with your result in order for it to be included.
- Result submission will be similar to last year, but there have been
some important changes - please see how to submit your results.
You must use the described format exactly, or you results will
not be accepted!
